BB10 TES tour

Completely Arbitrary Pre-Season Predictions

Arbitrary predictions. They're the best. For a frame of reference, let's look at this little ditty I wrote about Natalie before Big Brother 9, who, prior to the start of the season, I predicted to win it all: “She's going to have a legion of fans among male viewers – just look at her. It's going to be a surprise win by a seeming underdog, but she'll deserve it.” It turned out that Natalie was one of the most unlikable Big Brother participants in the history of the show. It's not all bad, though; I predicted eventual winner Adam to come in second. Now, it's time once again to put on my prediction skull cap, look into the crystal ball and guess who will triumph on Big Brother 10. The season premieres this Sunday, July 13, and now that we've caught our first glimpse at the thirteen fame-starved contestants, I can make informed, yet totally arbitrary, pre-season predictions.

'Big Brother' exec producer talks season 10

We learned this week that Big Brother 10 boasts the oldest cast ever (a 75-year-old great grandpa and a 53-year-old beauty salon owner!). But what is really in store for this crack-brained group of players? Well, for one thing, BB Executive Producer Allison Grodner says the show (still hosted by Julie Chen, pictured) is celebrating the franchise's 10th anniversary by going old school with the format (translation: no more secret couples).

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Because it’s the 10th season, do you feel like you had to do something bigger and better?
ALLISON GRODNER: We’re going back to the original format: putting a cast of strangers in the house who wouldn’t normally cross each other’s paths. This summer you’re going to find a 22-year-old body builder and a 75-year-old great grandpa in the house, and then everything else in between. We’ve had diversity of age in past, but this is clearly the biggest gap, and the grandpa is the oldest contestant we’ve ever had. It’ll be fascinating to watch the generational thing in the house.

There’s nothing old school about America’s Player. Is that twist out this summer?

CBS, AirPlay Launch ‘Big Brother’ Game

CBS is teaming with Internet game supplier AirPlay to launch the first interactive game linked to “Big Brother.”

The “Big Brother Live TV Challenge” joins the annual array of multiplatform initiatives associated with the network’s 9-year-old reality show, including live streaming via RealNetworks and the unedited “Big Brother After Dark” on Showtime 2.

The AirPlay game will allow “Big Brother” junkies to compete against other fans in various live Internet and text messaging challenges tied to knowledge of past episodes and predictions of future events on the show.

AirPlay—which also has launched games tied to “Deal or No Deal,” the Emmys and sporting events—will keep track of how players fare throughout the season and award the game winner a trip to the “Brother” season finale.

“Big Brother Live TV Challenge” launches Sunday, the same night “Big Brother” begins its 10th edition.

CBS also is revamping its official “Big Brother” Web site, allowing users to more fully interact with each other via expanded message boards. Hardcore “Brother” fans looking to trade gossip about the show have tended to flock to Web sites not associated with CBS.

Other returning elements of CBS’ cross-platform approach to “Big Brother” include:

*SPOILER!* The Houseguests are in the House!

Dang that RealityBBQ, I'm so jealous, they did it again.

*SPOILER!*

Thanks to information supplied once again by CornerOfficeX, the houseguests moved into the house last night (July 8th).

“The HG entered the house a little before 6pm tonight.

Julie Chen wore this beautiful red dress. She looked outstanding!

Before entering the house the HG voted on HOH based strictly on looks. You might be surprised who they chose.

There was some confusion about the beds. For an hour Jerry was going to be sleeping in the Spa Room. He ended up in the Punk Room with Jessie and Brian.

Memphis found a coon skin “Davey Crockett” hat and put it on immediately. Great first impression.

Angie asserted herself early. She’s definitely an alpha female.

Everyone wanted Jerry to do the toast and he didn’t disappoint. He’s endeared himself to 99% of the others.

Big Brother Finalist letter from casting

Someone posted on Jokers. This letter was presumably for those who made Top 35, they can still communicate with others but limited to NOT talking about being a finalist.

CONGRATULATIONS! You have been selected to be a Finalist for Big Brother 10. We are looking forward to having you with us for this last round of casting in Los Angeles.

Below are some important guidelines and helpful hints for you to keep in mind while you are staying with us.

When your airplane lands in Los Angeles, and you have collected your luggage, you should follow the signs to the Hotel Shuttles. You should board the Shuttle Bus for the

Sheraton Gateway – LAX
6101 W. Century Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90045

( please note there are 2 Sheraton’s at LAX...do not board the wrong shuttle )

DO NOT SPEAK TO ANYONE! If you have any problems please call

Once you arrive at the hotel you will check in at the front desk. Please remember that no one working at the hotel knows why you are here. This should remain that way. Once you have checked in, the front desk clerk will provide you with your room number as well as a room number for the Production office. As soon as you get settled in your room you should immediately call the production office so that we can invite you down to walk thru your schedule for the coming days

PLEASE NOTE: YOU SHOULD NEVER ARRIVE AT THE OFFICE UNANNOUNCED!

During your stay, all incidental expenses are your responsibility. These expenses include outside phone calls, mini bar expenses etc. If you drink or eat anything found in the mini-bar, you must pay for it. Please bring a credit card with you to cover your incidentals. In the event that you do not provide a credit card, the hotel will accept a $100 per day cash deposit. If you do not provide a credit card or cash deposit, you will not have the ability to make phone calls outside the hotel. You might also want to bring a pre-paid calling card to avoid high long distance rates.

You will be given a schedule for meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the hotel restaurant. If you choose, you can order room service rather than eat in the restaurant. If you miss your scheduled mealtime for any reason (including interviews or medical examinations), you will not be able to make that time up and will need to order room service. If you choose to eat in your room and not take advantage of this or any break, you must call the production office and let us know that you will, be staying in.

IMPORTANT: On travel days you will not be permitted to attend these events. You will be required to stay in your room for this entire day unless we request your presence at a meeting.

We will provide you with per diem for your meals. This per diem can be used in the hotel restaurant or for room service. Please do not lose this money. We will not be responsible for lost per-diem and CAN NOT replace per-diem for any reason

The hotel has a gym and a pool. As with meals, you will be given a scheduled workout time and pool time and may use these facilities ONLY at your designated time. We will not, under any circumstances, take special requests for pool and gym scheduling. If you miss your scheduled pool and/or gym time for any reason including interviews or medical examinations), unfortunately, you will not be able to make that time up. No exceptions!

When attending these meal breaks / pool / gym appointments it is important to remember that Big Brother is a game and protecting your game is very important starting now. With that said, we ask that you keep your presence to a minimum. Anyone seeing you could learn about you just by the way you dress, act or speak...especially if you are a loud talker....remember...protecting your game starts now!

As we’ve discussed, secrecy is of the utmost importance at this point in the process. Please be aware of the following rules:

DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE except our staff. WE MEAN THIS!!! Your involvement from here on out is to remain strictly confidential. This means, for instance, if a housekeeper strikes up a conversation, play dumb. Lie if you must, but do not under any circumstances give out any information as to who you are and why you are here. This rule applies at airport security as well, so prepare your story before arriving at the airport.

There should be no visible traces of why you are here in the hotel room. Please do not leave any paperwork out! As you will be spending a lot of time in your room, please welcome the housekeeper in to clean your room while you are in it...Do not speak with her or for any reason leave your room while she is cleaning it

YOU WILL NOT BE LEAVING THE HOTEL AND YOU CANNOT HAVE ANY VISITORS! If you have friends or relatives in Los Angeles, unfortunately, you will not be able to see them. Nobody should even know where you are. You MAY NOT reveal the hotel address to ANYONE, including your loved ones. Consider yourself sequestered, much as if you were a juror in a court case.

If you make outside calls, give no information out as to your whereabouts or the hotel name.

You will not be able to receive incoming phone calls. If someone calls the hotel and asks for your room, they will be routed to our production office. If an unauthorized phone call comes in to the hotel for you, you will be disqualified from the Finals process.

You may NOT bring a still photography camera, a video camera, camera phone or any kind of recording device with you.

It is important that you understand that you will be spending a great deal of time in your room and must be able to entertain yourself. We will not be available to keep you entertained. For this reason, we suggest you bring with you as many items as possible to keep yourself busy. IE; laptops, magazines, video games, books, I-PODS etc.

These rules are for your protection as you participate in the Final Round. If, for some reason, you are unable to adhere to these rules, you will be disqualified from the remainder of the process and sent home immediately.

Don’t worry: we will take good care of you! We realize that you are likely to become a little stir crazy, but just remember…if you’re lucky, it will get worse from here!

For all other inquiries, please call your Casting Producer.

Thanks for your cooperation. We will follow up this email with an itinerary as soon as possible.

Please respond to let me know that you have received this email!!!

Best,

Sydney Leier

Want to be on Dick's Real Player show?

From Dick's Blog

Ok, a couple of things you can do to get involved and have fun to boot, biotches...

I want your creative skills and comedy skills here....
Make some parodies of Big Brother, any season or any person that has ever been on the show. Make it good, if you don't need to say who you are in it, and everyone who knows the show knows who you are doing (you know what I mean, you dirty minded perv's) you have done a great job.
Maybe a great fight from the past. Maybe a great one liner. Something that will always stick with you about a particular season or person that was in the house (Jase primping.)
Try to go back a bit too. It will be too easy for you to do someone from BB8 or BB9. You are welcome to, but put some thought into it. Don't make me suffer through shit either, well the interns they are sending me anyhow.
I have ideas too, so they better be better than anything I come up with.

SEND YOUR CONTACT INFO ALONG WITH THE DVD...

NOTHING ELSE EXCEPT SHIT ON DVD WILL BE WATCHED, SO DON'T EVEN ASK. DO WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO CONVERT WHATEVER TO DVD, CAUSE I DON'T HAVE THAT SHIT AND DON'T PLAN ON GETTING IT.

IF YOU DONT SEND YOUR CONTACT INFO. IT WILL NOT BE WATCHED BECAUSE WE WILL PROBLY NEED SOME KIND OF RELEASE SIGNED OR YOUR FIRST BORN OR VIRGINITY OR SOME BULLSHIT.

Send all your crap to
EvelDick Donato
P.O.Box 880
Bellflower, Ca 90707

ALSO....
Does anyone know where or have or know who made the little stick man of me? It had a cut out picture of my head on a stick figure body and was animated farting....
If you know where I can get ahold of who did it, please let me know. If you don't but know where that thing is, let me know...

Thanks boys and girls,

Dick

Info on Socialite?

My sister, Jacque, just got here for a visit & she knows who the New Orleans Socialite is. They were standing beside each other at the New Orleans auditions. (I've already told ya'll about Jacque's audition.)

My sis says this woman is very OTT with a big personality. She's got a big, brunette hairdo. Hair is just above her shoulders. She walks like Bette Midler in platform sandals. She wears big diamond jewelry. She has a prominent N'awlins accent. Jacque says she's a nice looking lady with an OK figure. No fatty or anything.

Jacque said that as soon as this woman walked up to her in line she knew that this gal would get picked. She was grilling my sis about what to do & say but Jacque thought "there goes my chance". She was a shoe-in.

Dick Donato "Evel" To The Core

New Interview by: webdigestweekly.com

In 2007, Big Brother returned for its eighth season and America got to meet the one and only Dick Donato. Dick was without question the star of the show that summer and he quickly became a pop icon in the process. Little to anyone’s surprise, he used his powers to cajole and convince the rest of his housemates to follow his lead…and he won the whole thing! Lock, stock, and barrel. His in-your-face style and his no-holds-barred approach to the show caused millions of viewers to either love him or hate him. There was no middle ground. He was nicknamed “Evel” Dick and no one has to wonder why.

Dick really was America’s favorite character and his onscreen relationship with his daughter Danielle was one of the things that endeared him to the nation. These two hadn’t spoken in two years by the time they wound up in the Big Brother house and the way they worked through their differences, forged an unshakeable alliance, and then went to the very end together made them the most popular contestants in the hit show’s history. I’ve been keen to talk with Dick ever since I saw him on the show. I knew his reputation and I saw firsthand how he handles himself, yet I also suspected there was a nice guy under there…and I am glad I was right. Friends and neighbors, the one and only Evel Dick Donato.
