The Cast of CBS' 'Big Brother' Visits 'Phantom' in Las Vegas

This past Saturday, the cast of Season 10 and other alumni of hit CBS show "Big Brother," met in Vegas to celebrate the end of another successful season as well at the show's 10th anniversary. The group attended Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular as cast member Marcia Cope-Hart's son, Brian Hart, was a contestant on Season 10. Hart and the rest of the "Big Brother" group took in the 7pm performance of Phantom and stayed around following the show to visit with Hart's mother Marcia and the rest of the Phantom cast.

Big Brother Finale and Wrap Party

Sorry I haven't blogged in so long, but away from my computer and on the road. So I am sure everyone wants to know about my opinions on the finale and wrap party. Well first off, CONGRADULATIONS DAN, YOU DESERVE EVERY PENNY. Dan could not have been a better choice and I was shocked that it was a unanimous vote. I really thought a few of the unintelligent houseguests on the jury would vote for personal reasons and not based on Dan's amazing game play. Next I wanna comment on how awesome it was to walk onto that finale stage and see Keesha and Renny, I couldn't believe they were right there across from me and I hadn't seen them in months, it was also good to see Dan and Memphis when they came out of the house.

My speech to Jerry... I have had a ton of questions on wether or not that speech was coached or rehersed. The truth is that CBS gave me the option to give numerous topics I would like to discuss and based on what I gave them they decided to have me discuss Jerry. Yes I knew the clip of him celebrating was going to be shown and basically I got to choose what I wanted to say about Jerry as long as I ended by setting up the clip. I am not going to bash Jerry anymore since the show is over, I just wanted to let a lot of the Big Brother Primetime viewers get a glimpse of who Jerry really was if they didn't watch Big Brother After Dark and the Live Feeds.

Wrap Party.. The wrap party was so incredible and overwhelming at the same time. If you were there and took pictures with me, please add them to your myspace and tag them so I can see them. For the record I never spoke to Jerry, April or Ollie. I decided it was best to just stay away because I really didn't wanna act fake or pretend like I care about them. All of them showed what kind of shallow and sad people they are on TV and I would prefer to just stay away.

Former Houseguests... I met so many former houseguests and I loved all of them. I met a lot of Season 9 and they were all so cool, so glad I got to meet yall and can't wait to hang again! James, thanks so much for Hauling our drunk asses around! Nick and Jen, sorry we didn't get to hang more, things were so crazy at the Wrap party, but I will be coming to Arizona for a rodeo this winter and I hope to see yall! Dick, you were a lot of fun in Vegas, can't wait to see that diary room session. Danielle, again, another one that I only got to see for a very short time and wanted to hang with, I am coming to LA the weekend of October 10th, lets hang out then!

Gotta jet for now, but will write some more very soon. I hope yall aren't bored with my blogs yet ;)

What In Gay Hell Happened To Will Wilke?

Last time I heard the name Will Wilke he was on Big Brother 5, a contestant on the show that as neither here nor there - probably most famous for his incredibly cheesy, “If karma’s a boomerang it’s going to come back to hit you,” quip he made to Natalie and Adria - who replied, “Who’s Karma? Karma Electra?”

Back then he was a scrawny, twink, filling the quota for gay-male on that season of Big Brother. But without causing any real controversy disappeared relatively quickly and before anyone noticed was completely off the radar. Until… well… about right now.

Holiday Man goes to Big Brother Wrap Party!

BB8 Nick's Blog

Hey all... Thought I'd post about the finale and wrap party for Big Brother 10... For the finale, Jen brought her friend, Murtz Jaffer, who hosts a show called Reality Obsessed. He is a really nice guy and probably the biggest reality television fan I've met. There were some former houseguests that I ran into before we were ushered into the television audience. I met up with Matt and Adam from last year's show and they were good guys... ran into my man Adam from Survivor and his fiance Erika.. Zach was with them as well... and talked to James Rhine. Him and I were seated fairly close to each other and we had some good chats, he's a nice guy for sure. The show was fun and I was really suprised to see that Dan won with a 7-0 vote... I thought it was well deserved and thought he played a great game. After the show, Jen went into the back to do interviews for MSN and I headed downstairs w/ James, Chelsia and Sharon. P.S. Chelsia and Sharon were great as well.It was fun meeting up w/ some of the old production staff since I haven't touched based with them for awhile. I touched based with some people I haven't seen in a awhile... From our season I got to chat a little w/ Joe, Dick and Zach and everything went really well.

Thursday was the Wrap party and Jen and I went to Zach's before hand to meet up with him and his buddy Mikey, who was a super cool guy. He was the winner of I Wanna Be A Soap Star a couple years back and he was a good dude. We headed over to the Wrap Party and we met Crazy James right when we walked in.. He was nice and informed us as to his plans of becoming a Bicycle tour guide in Paris. Met up with most of the same crew from the Finale night throughout the night. Also, talked to a lot of people I had never met (Parker, Jen BB9, Joshua, Shiela)... Talked to pretty much all the BB10 Houseguests during the course of the night. Dan- This guy I can relate to.. He's a teacher from the Midwest and he is really grounded... I think he was really overwhelmed and guessing he was just excited to get back to Michigan and do his thing. I was talking to someone and Memphis came up and introduced himself to me, he seemed like a nice guy as well and we chit-chatted about editing and life after the show. Libra and her husband are great people, I dug talking to them (we also ran into them at Universal). Talked to Ollie and April and foresee meeting up with them at some point since Ollie is moving down to Arizona. The person I was really impressed with was Jessie. Since I've been on the show, I've learned not to judge anyone. I get itsy bitsy personal opinions of certain people but until you meet them, you don't know what type of person they are. Jessie came up and introduced himself to me and he is a really nice guy. He got a really bad edit on the show because the Jessie I met was a lot different than the one that was portrayed on the show. The magic of editing!! Overall, the experience was really great... This is kind of a watered down blog because there are so many out there already that give you the jist of what went down. Great trip overall though ...

INTERVIEW: Big Brother 10 Winner DAN!

Dan Gheesling was awarded the $500,000 Grand Prize for winning the 10th season of CBS' Big Brother. I got to talk to Dan about the other houseguests; who was annoying and long-winded and who was allegedly porking that you might not have known. We also talked about what Dan plans on doing with the money.

Big Brother 11: Winter Edition?

There are rumblings that Big Brother 11 may in fact be a winter edition. Speculation has been fueled by the mere fact that casting has already begun for Big Brother 11, some fans saying that casting now for a show scheduled nearly a year from now doesn't make any sense. While there is some validity to this line of thinking, Big Brother executive producer Allison Grodner has denied that Big Brother 11 will air in the winter. While Big Brother 9 did become the first season of the series to air in the winter months (where it was a mild success), the only reason CBS ran it was because of the writers' strike and CBS was desperate for new content. There will be no such strike in the coming months, and nothing there to necessitate bring Big Brother back before next summer. Nevertheless, let's examine this all a little bit further.

Crazy James Going Away Party

Tuesday is my going away party at Bar 107
Location is on 4th and Main in Downtown Los Angeles,
it starts at 10ish and goes til last call.
We will have midgets and cheap booze. Also I will be appearing at the reality TV awards.

I was the only Big Brother Contestant this year to be nominated so that is pretty cool. I believe that airs on the 11th of October. I had to chnge my flight due to the Award Show so I now leave Friday at 2.30pm from LAX.

James

Dan says "Thank You!"

To All Big Brother Fans, Dan Fans, & Renegade Fans:

Thank you so much for all of your support! All of the support, thank you notes, and encouragement is very overwhelming for me and totally unexpected. When I was trapped in the house I was not sure anyone would like me, but I appreciate all of the support.

I will keep you all updated as to what is going on with my life, just be patient with me because I am trying to catch up to the MySpace, Facebook, e-mails, etc etc...

I have been running all over the place trying to keep up with phone calls, family, and re-adjusting to life outside of the Big Brother house. I have NOT seen the Dark Knight yet OR picked up my new favorite CD, the Weezer Red Album that I got as my first HoH.

Winning Big Brother was a dream come true for many reasons, you all know how big of a BB fan I am and to win, and win 7-0 (totally unexpected), is very hard to even comprehend.

After the Finale show, I spent the next 36 hours doing press interviews, radio interviews, etc (check out the Bonnie Hunt Show!)

This past Wednesday we (my family, Monica, best friend Carp, Memphis, Ashley, Memphis' fam) went to Katsuya for a nice dinner and then to S-Bar for the Renegade party. Thanks to Ashley and Matt (at S-Bar) for hooking it up. We had a blast, I had a chance to catch up with Brian, Angie, and Steven for a second, but mainly it was a crazy night.

Big thanks to Mike Boogie for making an appearance at S-Bar and for hooking up Monica and I and Geisha House. If you ever are in LA you need to swing by Geisha House, great food and atmosphere. The best Sushi ever, check it out.

While in LA, Monica, Memphis, Ashley and I went to Universal Studios and had a great time!

The BB Wrap Party was something out of this world. I met a lot of great people and I received nothing but positive feedback. A lot of former House Guests were there and they are all so cool, here is who I ran into (sorry if I forget anyone), I did not get a chance to talk to them all unfortunately

BB1: Chicken George, the legend
BB3: Marcellas, Lisa - very cool
BB5: Diane - the best, very down to earth
BB6: Jennifer-awesome, photogenic James-nice guy
BB7: Erika-charismatic
BB8: Jen & Nick - genuine
Dick - do I even need to say anything?
Danielle - sweetheart, plus she started Team Dan, come on!
Joe & Zach - nice dudes
BB9: Chelsia & Crazy James
Jen - very cool, personable
Josh - said hey, didn't get a chance to talk to
Parker - the man
Sharon - very sweet

I also met Sheila, I was very thrilled to meet her. What she told me got me FIRED UP! Long story short, she knows how big of a fan I am of the Karate Kid, so she is hooking me up big time, she can tell the details but I'm not sure how much she wants me to say. But Sheila is the best, so cool, and I look forward to speaking with her soon.

The gag reel is hilarious; the producers did an awesome job with that. If you haven't seen the Wrap Party gag reel, I think you can check it out on YouTube. All I can say is that I was laughing uncontrollably at "the Graduate" clip, nice work.

OK, so what's in the future for me? There are tons of things coming my way; you wouldn't believe half of it if I told you. I will keep you all updated as to what is going on if I decide to accept any of the stuff.

As far as my fellow houseguests, I barely got a chance to speak to any of them. I talk to Memphis daily (the Renegades are for real) and Brian. I need to get in touch with the rest of the crew; I was so busy I did not even get a chance to exchange numbers, pretty sad. If Renny, Keesha, Angie or any of my friends are reading this get a hold of me I want to talk to you guys!

The rest of this week I am going to try to get re-acclimated to my life, it has been a lot tougher than I thought. I thought I could jump from BB house to normal life with ease, but it has been a process. But don't worry, if I can handle living in a house with 12 crazy people, re-adjusting won't be so bad ;)

Give me some time and I will get some things lined up so I can interact with all of you!

I feel very blessed to be in this situation and I want you all to know from the bottom of my heart I appreciate ALL your support.

Stay posted, I won't leave you all hanging too long....or if you do hang long, I will make a deal with you and get you to drop from the vine, hahahah, just kidding. :)

Take care and I will be in touch!

-Dan

Crazy James going away party

From Gretchen's website

So here's the scoop: do you remember how in my last wrap party
email I talked about how Crazy James told me that he's moving to
France?

Well, on Tuesday, there's going to be a huge going away party for
him at the infamous Los Angeles Bar 107 - which happens to be
owned by Sheila's young comic boyfriend stud, and which also
happens to be a huge hangout for everyone BB who may be in town.
I was invited, so of course I'm going to go.

And since everyone seemed to like my wrap party photos, I thought
I'd take my camera with me and get some shots of the event so that
all of you diehard BB fans could be included. And the folks on the
mailing list will be the first to see them! If all goes well I'll have
those up online sometime Wednesday, so check back then.

And I may just have something else in mind,
ya clickers...hee hee...
