Exclusive Interview: Jerry, from 'Big Brother 10'

Give props to Jerry. There may have been some minor floating involved in his ascent to final three on Big Brother 10, but the man is 75 years old. He did something right to make it that far. Despite being from a different generation than anyone else inside the Big Brother house, Jerry was able to interact with his fellow houseguests. Jerry wasn't a great social player, but he probably did better than a typical man in his mid-seventies would have. And, don't forget - the man also won two Head of Households. That's nothing to sneeze at. Only Dan had more on Big Brother 10.

Memphis and Dan, you know, they probably did the right thing getting rid of Keesha. Jerry has almost zero chance beating either Renegade in the final multi-part Head of Household competition, whereas Keesha may have had a fighting chance. But, that doesn't make it right. In all likelihood, they would have won out over Keesha. Might as well let her stay in the game. They were all friends and, even if they don't want to admit it, Keesha was a key cog in the alliance that got them this far on Big Brother 10. Big Brother's Keesha Dishes on Being Backstabbed

As this season of Big Brother winds toward its conclusion, each eviction becomes a little harder to swallow — especially when it's a former alliance member giving you the boot. For Keesha Smith, it was a fellow houseguest who had promised to sit beside her at the end of the game that cast the sole vote to evict her. Here, she sounds off on being betrayed, living and fighting with a 75-year-old man and what's she's most looking forward to in the jury house.

Head of Household #9: Dan

Wow, what a ride this entire game has been. There have been so many ups and downs it is crazy! I had the chance to leave the house for a day and it was a very strange feeling. The helicopter ride was out of this world, I enjoyed it so much, I managed to see Memphis' Bar, Keesha's Restaurant, and a whale in the ocean! (not to mention all of the spectacular tourist type locations) Being outside of the house for a short period of time made me realize how fast this stay has gone in the house. I know some people may complain a lot about being in the house, but it has (scary enough) become my new home. I was almost missing the fact of being locked in a house with 3 other people, which is borderline insane. I enjoy every minute I am in the house and am very appreciative of all the support of my family, girlfriend, friends, students/faculty of Orchard Lake St. Mary's, and of course the fans (what few fans I may have left, hahahah).

Mom on CBS reality show gives shout-out to AU

Fans of CBS' "Big Brother" no doubt have noticed a state connection.

Renny Martyn, one of the final five vying for the top prize of $500,000, is often wandering around the "Big Brother" house in Auburn shirts.

Why? Because her son, Patrick "Sparky" Martyn was a punter for the Tigers until 2006.

Patrick, 24, and his sister, Paris, 27, convinced their mom to audition for the CBS show, which sticks 13 people in a house together, cut off from the outside world. One person is voted out of the house each week, and the last one standing wins the money.

"My mom's not really into reality shows, but she loves 'Big Brother' and 'Survivor,'" says Patrick, who lives in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans, with his parents. "Me and my sister kept checking the CBS site, and all of a sudden, saw they were having auditions in New Orleans."

After winning season nine of Big Brother, Adam Jasinski decided that he would use some of the money he won to get plastic surgery. Several years ago he sustained facial injuries when he was in a driving accident that sent him through the windshield of his vehicle.

How CBS Can Improve 'Big Brother' for 'Big Brother 11'

Television executives aren't stupid. Oftentimes, they may seem like it. But, trust me, they're not. This does not mean that they don't make a lot of horrible, horrible decisions. Because they do, all the time. TV is a high-stakes business, where millions of dollars are often pumped into series that turn out to be abject failures. It's a business where shows that seem like absolute slam dunks crash and burn and after-thoughts meant to be schedule fillers set the world on fire. You can't ever predict what will catch on with the general public. Likewise, you never know how changes to long-running shows will be digested by that show's fans. Big Brother has evolved over the years.

BB10: Interview with Renny: "Age is always a factor."

On the outs this week was Renny Martyn, the beauty salon owner from New Orleans, Louisiana. One of two parental figures in the house this season, Renny had her motherly moments giving haircuts and hugs, but she also had plenty of wild times. She also showed clearly that being the house mom doesn’t equate with being spineless.

Between her multiple wigs and boas as vibrant as her personality, Renny Martyn definitely brought plenty of color to the Big Brother house this season. Her antics kept us (and her fellow houseguests) entertained, but her charm was ultimately seen as her biggest threat, causing the other players to evict her rather than possibly sitting beside her at the end. Exlcusive Interview: Renny, from 'Big Brother 10'

After all that we've seen on Big Brother, it is near impossible to dislike Renny. Call her annoying, call her insane, call her volatile, whatever, Renny's overarching goodness is difficult to ignore. The New Orleans lady about town played a solid game, putting forth a veiled sort of intelligence. Renny knows people, and generally held all the right suspicions about her fellow houseguests, especially later in the Big Brother season. Her presence will be missed, though I'd love some footage of Renny defending Keesha's honor in the jury house. Renny kindly answered some email questions we sent her before making the long trek to the jury house.
